Slope rules Hochzeiger trail
Playfully explore the rules of the slopes with Pitzi and his friends.
In the Hochzeiger family ski area, there is a particularly informative offer on the subject of safety on the slopes. In order to promote knowledge and awareness of the rules of the slopes , Hochzeiger Bergbahnen has developed a concept in collaboration with its partners Uniqa and Sunkid that is suitable for both young and old visitors to the ski area.
This makes learning fun!
The piste rules are basic rules of conduct for all ski slopes worldwide, comparable to the Highway Code. In the ski resorts, they are clearly illustrated at key points by comic drawings on panoramic piste boards.
Pitzi, the mascot of the Pitztal, is part of this concept. A special highlight for children is the piste rules trail at the Zirbenbahn. There, Pitzi and his friends explain the 10 FIS rules on illustrated boards along the Zirben downhill run. These comics help young children in particular, who are not yet of school age, to easily learn and understand the rules of the slopes. The most important principle is: "Be considerate."
The 10 FIS slope rules are as follows:
- Watch out and be considerate!
- Always drive in a controlled manner!
- Don't drive back and forth wildly!
- Overtake with sufficient distance!
- Look first, then drive off!
- Only stop at the edge of the slopes!
- Caution! Do not walk in the middle of the slope!
- Look at the information board!
- Stop and help!
- Always have an ID card with you!
