Mountaincart fun on the Hochzeiger

The starting point of the Zirbencart route is at the mountain station of the Hochzeiger 2.5 eight-seater chairlift at 2,500 meters. The starting point can be reached quickly and easily with the gondola lift and the Hochzeiger 2.5 eight-seater chairlift. Over a length of around 4.0 kilometers, you can experience an adventurous ride on three wheels and enjoy a magnificent mountain panorama all the way to the middle station.

Mountain carts are a specially developed fun sports downhill device. They have a hydraulic dual-circuit disc brake system and offer relaxed riding fun thanks to the ergonomic seating position .

ZirbenCart rental opening hours (Hochzeiger middle station)   

  • Open daily from 22.06. to 15.09.2024 from 9:10 to 16:00.
  • From 16.09. to 13.10.2024 the Zirbencart rental is open on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 09:10 to 16:00.

ZirbenCart price information

There is a charge of 14.00 euros per ZirbenCart ride. Children aged 12 and over and 150 cm tall may use their own Zirbencart. Children under this height may ride on the lap of an adult supervisor. An official photo ID is required for the Zirbencart rental.

Tip: Guided Zirbencart special tour

On the guided Zirbencart special tour , our guide will take you on the Zirbencarts from the Hochzeiger 2.5 mountain station at 2,500 meters to the Hochzeiger valley station at 1,450 meters shortly after 4:00 pm. Over a distance of around 10 kilometers , more than 1,000 meters in altitude have to be overcome. Action and fun are guaranteed with the mountain carts. The Zirbencart special tour costs 29 euros per participant (minimum number of participants: 5 Zirbencarts).
