On a discovery tour in the ZirbenPark with Pitzi & Gratsch

On the ZirbenPark adventure trail, visitors young and old also get to know the two friends Pitzi and Gratsch, who live in the ZirbenPark Hochzeiger. The little ibex Pitzi is the mascot of the Pitztal. Together with his friend Gratsch, he experiences exciting adventures. "Gratsch" is the dialect name for the "fir jay". The two also have a shared passion. They love to collect and eat Swiss stone pine nuts. While Zirbengratsch carefully and tirelessly ensures that the Swiss stone pine nuts find their way into the forest floor so that they germinate and later grow into Swiss stone pines, Pitzi is torn between the two - after all, the Swiss stone pine nuts taste wonderful.

The fun factor is not neglected in the ZirbenPark

Children can plant Swiss stone pine nuts in the raised bed, jump into the fresh hay, balance and climb, visit the alpine animal zoo or plane shavings for a Swiss stone pine cushion. The highlight of the Zirben Park is the ZirbenZapfen adventure tower. The 12-metre-high tower is modeled on a pine cone and has a viewing platform and a 16-metre-long tube slide. Those who are vigilant in the ZirbenPark and memorize the clues on the boards can take part in the quiz and then receive a surprise gift in the Zeigerrestaurant.

After about an hour's walk, the circular hike is over and visitors are back at the Hochzeiger gondola mountain station, the start and end point of the ZirbenPark. Right next to the mountain station, the Zeigerrestaurant with its Swiss stone pine specialties, regional products and much more invites you to stop and linger.

Highlights in the ZirbenPark:

  • Zirbenzapfen adventure tower with 12-meter-high viewing platform and 16-meter-long tube slide
  • Swiss stone pine nest: The 6 meter high nest is built like a secret dungeon, the entrance has to be found first
  • Stone pine ball tracks: The individually designed marble runs are great fun, promote motor skills and enable playful exploration of the ZirbenPark. (Balls available on site for a fee.)
  • Swiss stone pine water. Build and dam in the beautifully designed water playground at the middle station. Here you will find streams, wooden channels, a shallow water biotope with a walk-in pine cone, a sand play area and much more
  • Zirbencarts. Fun and action are guaranteed with the ZirbenCarts (mountain carts).
